Builder
A Builder is one of the four Operator Types in the OPC Model: someone whose current default engagement with work is creation, initiation, and forward momentum.
Creates, initiates, pushes things into existence. Strong bias toward creation, momentum, and new moves. The default response to a problem is to make something.
Builder describes a current engagement mode, not a fixed type. It captures how someone is responding to work at the time of classification. The same person can classify differently after a material change in circumstances, and that is by design.
The characteristic risk of the Builder mode is starting as a substitute for finishing. When progress stalls, the instinct is to open a new front rather than push the existing one through resistance.
