Transition
Transition is one of the four Phases in the OPC Model: a situational context in which the old direction is weakening, the new one is not yet established, and the primary pressure is directional rather than volumetric.
The old direction is weakening and the new one is not yet clear. A period of repositioning where the primary pressure is directional, not volumetric.
Transition is distinct from Compression: the load may be entirely manageable. What is missing is a settled direction to organise it around.
